The all-new 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT is here and so is the most popular RT Backrest. The new designed Detachable Smart Mount™ Backrest system for the new 2020+ Can-Am RT. The pad assembly can be easily pulled out for a clean look, or inserted back onto the hidden attachment base in seconds. Includes unique pad hinge assembly and adjustable tongue which allows 1” of vertical pad adjustment as well as 3” of horizontal positioning of the pad to insure you get a custom placement that matches your riding needs. Includes handy removable storage pouch and backrest pad.

We put together a product that will work on those panels as well as your tires. Brings a long lasting shine and care and prevent those black textured panels from aging.     Great except the small adjusting screws are to small in my opinion and I had to drill them out and replace with 5/16 bolts as the screw heads stripped when tightening them No big deal, easy to do

    The overall backrest is acceptable but instructions suck as hard to read and I would think better visual quides and larger print would really benefit the product One added note would be a spring to hold it upright and when passenger want on it could easily be held down

    The backrest was a much needed purchase. The install instructions are clear and concise and the install was fairly easy. The only issue I had was trying to install the lock washer that holds the bracket mounted under the seat. I finally gave up trying to install the lock washer, seems that the bolt needs to be 1/16” longer. Otherwise a great purchase and a much needed accessory.

    Rt series backrest 2020

    Well made product, fairly easy to install and feels comfortable but I haven’t had a chance to ride with it yet. The install instructions were good but over condensed to fit on 1 page. I hate having parts left over ( 2 hex cap bolts, 2 rubber items) and no clear idea if they are needed somewhere or not? Fender washer bolt was too short to pu thread pocket with lock washer, glad I had a longer one in the shop. Chances are good I will appreciate the support on longer rides, looking forward to trying it soon!

    I purchased this back rest to help support an aging back. I had one on my previous bike, a goldwing, however it was hard leather I'm pretty uncomfortable. This one I purchased for my spyder was very easy to install as the directions we're relatively accurate. This backrest is adjustable so I was able to put it in the perfect spot for my height (6'2"). The leather cushion is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this back rest for anyone like me or for just a comfortable ride with no pressure on your lower back.

    Though bit tricky to install, watching the video and reading instructions thoroughly before starting really helped. Adds lot of comfort to riding and tilt forward feature is great for passenger to get on and off bike
