RT 2010-2019 - Rear Trunk Holder
Someone needs to come up with a solution to the cylinder that often fails at its job. Sometimes because it's got a few years of wear and/or because we over worked it. If you own a luggage rack you know what i'm talking about. With the heavy load of the luggage, you always need to hold it up when using the rear trunk, it will fall on you otherwise. If you have an older Spyder model, chances are that the cylinder is shot tired.
This will be a very economical solution for you and I bet for your friends, we all know someone with this issue. Made from stainless steel so it won't rust. Installation will take you just minutes.

trunk holder
Works well. The adjustable feature lets you adjust how high the lid is held open. Did not have a lot of instructions. I thought there would be template on where to drill the two holes, but none was needed. Just put it where you want it. I recommend it.

If you need it, worth every penny
I bought a used RT. Trunk would not stay open. The piston replacement were expensive, so I thought I would try this. Works great, easy to use and strong.

Rear trunk hold open
This looks like a very solid made accessory but unfortunately I am using the Can Am zip up mirror which makes it impossible to use this hold up. I might make my own that works.

Easy install and simple design. Works well and a big help as I have permanent bag on trunk lid so cost effective way to keep lid open.
